I’m writing about an interesting bird sighting — a fledgling American Kestrel seen on my fire escape yesterday and today (photo attached). This beautiful bird is a small falcon. I know an ornithologist, Bob De Candido, who is studying kestrels in New York City, and he thinks there must be a nest very nearby.
