Several years ago a 32 story residential Tower (Jean Nouvel architect) was being planned at this site but the project was defeated by the community. Now a hotel called the Standard is being built there by Hotelier Andre Balazs.

Curious about this new Hotel??. Then come to an event sponsored by the JANE STREET ASSOCIATION to hear the architect, Polshek Partners, give a talk on the plans for the new Standard Hotel.
