500 ft ruling – wha?
As many of you know, when a bar/restaurant/club decides to open in NYC (and serve liquor), it must apply to the State Liquor Authority (SLA) for a license. Before that, however, it must notify the community board (in our case CB2). The board conveys its approval or disapproval of the request to the SLA.... »
