			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A really cool opportunity to spend a day removing from our fabulous river the floatable and flotsam which arrive daily with the tide and through thirty combined sewage outfalls that discharge into the river on rainy days.  <a href="http://www.fohrp.org/fohrp2.php?screen=events#Clean%20Sanctuary%20Campaign">The Clean Sanctuary Campaign</a> will provide skimmers, telescoping hook poles, and trash bags. </p>
<p>You must be 18 years of age or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Sturdy footwear with deep treads, and long pants are required. Dress for weather. Meet at Hudson River Park&#8217;s Pier 54, just one block south of 14th Street and the Hudson River. </p>
<p>Registration is required. If you are interested in joining our clean-up efforts, please contact the <a href="http://www.fohrp.org/fohrp2.php?screen=events#Clean%20Sanctuary%20Campaign">Clean Sanctuary Campaign </a>at: volunteer@fohrp.org. </p>
